JPHCS Families,
All community service hours for 7th and 8th graders are due in the main office by May 29, 2026. Failure to complete the required hours will disqualify students from graduation.
April Calendar!
This Wednesday, our school had the Rutgers Science Explorer Bus for an interactive “Cancer Detectives” program designed for our 8th school students. The 40-foot mobile lab will be stationed at the school for the duration of the day with hands-on programming. Our talented 7th grade students put on a great performance. We are so proud of the hard work, creativity, and teamwork that went into this production.

The residency was made possible through a partnership with Young Audiences Arts for Learning New Jersey & Eastern Pennsylvania with funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
This production would not have been possible without the support of our JPHCS staff, including Mr. Nelson, Ms. Jaffa, and the 7th Grade Team.

This week our students will celebrate Social Emotional Learning (S.E.L.) Week!
Activities will focus on kindness, teamwork, positive choices, and building confidence. It’s a week to grow together, learn about emotions, and practice ways to support one another.

As a schoolwide celebration of our 1st ever basketball win, both students and staff may enjoy a free tag day tomorrow December 16, 2025. Way to go Marlins!

Playtime just got even better - our playground is open! 🛝 Preschool and Kindergarten couldn’t wait to explore and had the best time.
Some of our 8th graders planted 250 daffodils yesterday to help beautify our shared campus as part of JPHCS’s community service mission! 🌼
A huge thanks to City Green for the bulbs and continued support! This is the second year that JPHCS is a grantee of their Tree, Bulb and Native Perennial Grant Program. The “Dig In!” program is funded by the Passaic County Board of County Commissioners.

Our Kindness Tree is FULL across from the Community Center! 🌳 Staff and students have filled it with kind words and thoughtful messages, spreading positivity throughout JPHCS during the Month of Respect. Let’s remember a little kindness can brighten someone’s whole day! 💛
We want to thank everyone who decorated trunks, dressed up, donated, and joined in the fun for our Trunk or Treat last Friday! It was a blast!!
