Our 8th graders had an exciting field trip to Camp Bernie!

To celebrate Earth Day, Mrs. Connor's 5th grade students planted marigold seeds and learned about the importance of caring for our planet. The class discussed   how plants help keep the Earth healthy by cleaning the air, providing beauty, and helping pollinators like bees and butterflies. This hands-on activity was a fun and meaningful way to celebrate Earth Day while learning about nature and growth.

A few of our 8th graders joined Mayor Andre Sayegh for a downtown community clean-up, giving back and helping keep our city beautiful. 🌎💙

Our basketball team and coaches were invited yesterday to a luncheon hosted by Dr. Scano. We are incredibly proud of these boys - this is their first season playing together, and through teamwork and dedication they earned an impressive 2nd place finish in the NIT Championship.

To our 8th graders, we wish you the best of luck in all that’s ahead. Once a Marlin, always a Marlin 💙

April Calendar!

This Wednesday, our school had the Rutgers Science Explorer Bus for an interactive “Cancer Detectives” program designed for our 8th school students. The 40-foot mobile lab will be stationed at the school for the duration of the day with hands-on programming. Our Marlin Cheerleaders took home 2nd place at the Taub Doby Competition-an incredible achievement in their very first competition this weekend! 📣

Great job to Ms. Bacote and our amazing team for your hard work, dedication, and school spirit. We are so proud of you!

This Saturday, March 21st our dazzling cheerleading team is hitting the mat at Kennedy High School for a citywide competition! 📣✨

Our talented 7th grade students put on a great performance. We are so proud of the hard work, creativity, and teamwork that went into this production.

The residency was made possible through a partnership with Young Audiences Arts for Learning New Jersey & Eastern Pennsylvania with funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.

S.E.L. Week at JPHCS - February 23–27
This week our students will celebrate Social Emotional Learning (S.E.L.) Week!

Activities will focus on kindness, teamwork, positive choices, and building confidence. It’s a week to grow together, learn about emotions, and practice ways to support one another.
